18 posts · Joined 2021. #1 · Sep 7, 2023. Hello, I have a 2021 Crosstrek sport that I have changed the oil by myself many times. This time I decided to put in a new drain plug and gasket. I bought a couple from local car supply shops. I did the normal change, made sure I hadn't left the old gasket on and everything went fine.
Toyota engine used to be well known running hot for the small 4 cylinder, and really put a demand in oil quality. After I got it fixed I shut the engine and after about 30 sec started it again.
