The SS strips are chromed plated plastic. The Malibu versions are two pieces, an aluminum bezel with a thin steel insert with a woodgrain applique. 66 & 67 12-bolts are inch narrower than 68-72 (which are all the same). This rear end should bolt in directly, and actually give you a bit more room to run wider tires.
