If you have a proper valve job and porting on your heads with a bump in compression to get you over 10:1, preferably 10.5:1 you will see much bigger gains. More along the lines of 115HP and 125 lbs. of torque. 85 -90 HP 100-105 tq on a stock 103 with the 555. 100 hp 110 tq on a stock 103 that would be pretty hard to achieve.

If you want to up the compression on your motor, use the HD P/N 22179-99A cast pistons. That should put you at 10:25-1 compression with the factory 103" heads. Use the +.10 pistons so the machinist can hone your stock barrels to fit the new pistons. If you are going for "Bang for the buck," leave the heads alone for now.
