The scythe would already do two weaknesses to spiders, add spicy and it's 3 times the weaknesses.The scythe, along with the assassin armor, is good for a critical hit build. Although it acts like an axe it is influenced by the assassin (dagger) mutation. Other good mutations are ones that help with crits. Trapper peeper and coup de grass along with apex predator and assassin would be my set up for the scythe.
