Oct 22, 2020 · In order to bypass the fuel shut off solenoid simply cut the plunger off the solenoid with side cutters, and screw the solenoid back into the bottom of the carburetor.... Turn the key on, all lights come on, engine turns over - will not fire. I'm down to the fuel shut off solenoid. It has three wires: small red w/black stripe goes to relay, big black wire which is ground, and big white wire. Don't know where it goes. Voltage check shows red w/black stripe has power; ground (black wire) is good ground.I have an 04 T190 with just over 1000 hours. I have had this same issue on and off since 06. I believe that the power to closed that relay coms from the ECM, just like the power for the Lift Pump. There are several with the same part number and are interchangeable.

Put 12v on the white wire,, ground on either of the 2 and PUSH IN on the rod.. if it holds.. put the - on the other and put slight pressure on the rod and see if it snaps in..
