I bought a used 2013 Acadia SLE last month with some known issues, one of which was the warning on the dash that indicated a failure of the side detection system. I found this website and it indicated that a quick replacement of both modules and maybe a wiring hardness would fix this issue. I had to remove the rear bumper to get at the modules ...
