Re: SA 200 Continental F-163 Compression and Smoke. Oil was changed, run awhile and changed again. While the head was off carbon was removed (had very little). Gas tanks was cleaned and fresh non-ethanol gas used. Will use additive and load down, oil the cylinders, and recheck compression.
Take out the #4 plug. Take the cap off the mag. Stick finger of left hand in the plug hole. With right hand grab fan and rotate engine (in the direction it runs) You will feel the compression stroke in #4.
