Dexcom transmitter not pairing.
In our case, the problem was location services. Our child has a child's Google Account Managed by the parents family link app and I had to explicitly authorize location services through the family link app for Dexcom on his phone. After that I had to reinstall the Dexcom app and attempt a new transmitter pairing. 15 minutes later and it worked!

Under phone settings, check that your Dexcom transmitter appears in the list of paired devices. If it does not, first delete all of the paired devices from the phone. Go to the Dexcom app settings, delete then re-enter the transmitter serial number and repeat the transmitter pairing process.If you’re currently using Omnipod + Dexcom G6 CGM: You may qualify for self-guided training (eLearning Modules only).
