I currently have an ecobee4 thermostat installed but had to install the included pek kit since there was no c wire. This turned our 4 wires into 5 (r, y, w, c, and g). I would really like to add an additional conductor (w2) without running new wires. This is has been resolved. I contacted Ecobee support and we moved the R wire back to RC, then went into setup and reconfigured. Even though the original setup was that there was only an RC, the Ecobee3 was showing both RC and RH as being connected.
