It can help if you have ready blueprints, then just place buildings over their ghosts. You can go as far as making a preview run of the base in editor mode and tweak it to optimal layout. Then make blueprints and start over. 1.For early to Mid-game, around 30 SPM is what you're looking for. For late game, you only need 1600 Purple and 1300 Yellow. Don't build to 30/45 SPM. That's a lot of time being spent building. For the end game, build rocket components as you do the final research. For early game, I'd watch some Speedrun videos.

Go to the achievement menu ingame and track the no-spoon achievement, that will ensure you still have everything valid. When making a new map, set: This will ensure you never ever have to deal with a biter, but still keep the achievement enabled. It is absolutely cheesing to be sure, but everything goes.
