Called AAA to cancel my tow call and drove to the dealership. Diag code came up indicating a faulty key fob which the deakership ordered. Yes, only thing we could chase. I've never encountered the problem again. I just get a message on the screen in the dash that says ford key free no key detected. I popped off the round piece of plastic where the ignition would be and placed the fob in it and everything comes on ... I noticed it was only an issue when the phone was in the cradle AND charging. I unplugged the charger, no issue. Phone not in the charger, no issue. MOVED the charger, no issue. Even moving the charger half an inch further away had no affect.
