The L adapter rotted out and ruined the O2 sensor. RESOLUTION: Essentially a slow reading or failing 02 sensor. Doesn't mean the sensor is dead, just something is up making it read differently. Turns out my test pipe defouler was getting clogged with carbon residue.Install a new oxygen sensor: insert a new oxygen sensor into the exhaust pipe and tighten it with the wrench.
