The extrusion widths are maybe ok for the old type of supports but to me it looks like organic supports requires a thicker extrusion, think of them a bit like a vase mode print, so try setting the extrusion width for supports to 0.45 or even 0.5mm in Print Settings>Advanced>Extrusion width. Jul 11, 2023 · After countless hours of testing and retesting, these are my support settings tuned as best I can to have easy to remove supports that make the best supported layer that I could get. Over 100 models tested locally with these settings across multiple machines and users with great success. Add a new suport style "Tree Organic" from Prusa, as organic support is faster and seems more strong in some cases. Thanks to Prusa. Feature detection including sharp tail, small overhang, long cantilever, are still kept. Known issue: first layer support path may go outside build plate.

RE: Prusaslicer setting for ONLY necessary supports. And, remember this is a Prusa software set. What you and I think is 45 degrees, Prusa thinks is 90 degrees. So the range you can adjust in the setting is o (automatic) to 180 (perpendicular to the bed). Where 90 provides supports for a 45 degree angle the rest of us see.
