2002 Odyssey driver's side sliding door will no longer electronically open or close. It just stopped working a few days ago. The passenger side works fine. 1. It does not work with key fob, dash button, or door handle (inside or out). 2. It does not work with the van on or off. 3.Sounds like the door swith is bad. You can disconnect the switch inside the rear hatch at the locking mechanism. This will "fix" your problem, but will keep the light from going on automatically when you open the hatch. There are microswitches in the rear door latches that can fail or the latch mechanism itself gets dirty and the cams don't activate the switches, as normal.
