Heck, the 2021 ID4 could not even see if the car was locked or unlocked from app. At least the 2022 and 2023 have that feature. Not sure if it would be a car update or just a MyVW app update. This is a good car but because it's still not very refined, it takes a couple of life-hacks to eliminate some of the daily frustrations.
