13.7 JAKL First Impressions. The good; Most of the tolerances feel pretty tight with a nice overall fit and finish. Extremely light perceived recoil with the adjustable gas block and weight distribution. Easily one of the most comfortable 5.56 rifles I've fired. Overall it doesn't feel like a rifle produced by a "budget" company.
The Jakl is a novel range toy. The Sabre is a decent duty type AR (dimple gas block for added security). If you have good ARs you might want the novel Jakl. I am considering buying a Jakl. However, I know that some PSA products are hit or miss when they first release like the AKV before the MAC bracket or the dagger with some of the barrels rifling being jacked up. I also know that PSA is always quick to remedy the issues and their customer support is usually pretty great.
If you file down the feed lips of the mags it runs flawless. Lancer 300 specific mags run great with no mods. Those mags are used to run subs, if I use standard 5.56 P mags, lancer, PSA aluminum mags, or any other mags with supers it runs flawless. So my advice is to check feed lips on all mags with Jakl 300 blackout.

The fit and finish, though, leaves something to be desired. The aluminum upper 1913 rail is very roughly forged for some reason. A lot of chips and gouges out of the 1913 rail, as if the mold they poured into wasn't perfect.
