The reasoning is, a finger meter will drop 12 seeds per revolution, and the brush meter will drop 30 (2.5x the finger meter). Just bought a 7000 planter and was wondering about the transmission sprockets. I have the operators manual, but I don"t have the driver driven sprocket #"s they have listed on the population chart. I would like to plant 26,700 seeds and the book calls for 22 driver and 18 driven but 14 and 15 are the biggest sprockets on my transmission.

I assume you have Kinze brush meters. The population is 5 times the corn chart rate because the finger meter has 12 fingers and your brush meter has 60 cells.
