Kel-Tec KS7, same old KSG problems. Got a new Kel-Tec KS7 from a post on r/gundeals and took it out to shoot last night. It looked to me like they had solved a lot of the problems of the KSG and at a much lower price point ($495). They didn’t. I’m not even posting a picture because I am so irritated.

The TS is faster to reload, softer shooting, balanced better, faster times in competition against the KSG, and all around more fun (IMHO). The only reason I don’t sell the KSG is because I don’t believe in selling guns.
Much of it is simply Kel-Tec bad mouthing because Kel-Tec. Kel-Tec is apparently doing a much better job with their long guns then their older pistols. If you look closer at the KSG and KS7 the receiver and internals are pretty heavy duty parts. The receiver is a formed hardened steel that's very strong.

But fully loaded, the KSG is closer to the Tavor in terms of weight and overall size. The real advantage of the KS7 is that it is thin, light, and basic.
