The only interaction you have with the sail is to put the sail up (stops it from gathering wind) or put the sail down which makes it capture the wind and propel you forward. Considering you only get to make 1, and you only get it once you visit the final island, and considering you have a raft faster than the copter, nah, it ain't worth it. I mean, there are some custom islands where the copter makes it convenient to access some remote or high places, but other than that, nah.
Sepp Mar 24, 2016 @ 3:03pm. Yes, you can expand your raft with bases first, then build a floor on the new bases if you want to. -> If you meant a floor without a base, it is not possible I think. Foundations can only be removed if theres nothing built or dependent on them (wall/floors/etc).
