Slide a new cartridge base up the face of the breech and under the extractor claw. It should move smoothly with a bit more pressure as it slides under the extractor claw. SIG had a bad run of them early in P365 production but that problem was licked a long time ago. The new striker will have a stronger, beveled tip on it and should last you many thousands of rounds. MAC had problems with several, and here I am a few years later with 8 different P365s in my inventory and only 1 (early 3 digit s/n) had a RTB issue that was quickly fixed by Sig. That pistol now has over 5K trouble free rounds through it. We have around 300rds through my wife's P365 .380 and zero issues thus far.The sight is now DEAD ON at 21' - Excellent, tight groups all day! You can even shoot a decent, centered group at 50'. I get a misfire every 4th or 5th round or random. I sent it back to sig twice. they replaced trigger mechanism and trigger bar and its still having same issue. Before you take such drastic steps, call Sig (do not email them) and get authorization to send your pistol in for repairs. I have read accounts of the older P365 pistols going through thousands of rounds without issues. The problem could be as simple as a weak spring.
