Since having the Implanon implant fitted 5 months ago I was almost constantly on my period until 2 weeks ago when, instead of a period, I started getting a watery brown discharge instead. I know it's not an STD and hope it's not an infection. i know this is a listed as a side effect, but i might need reassurance . i got my nexplanon 1 1/2 months ago, have had plenty of sex without condoms or pulling out , no biggie to me . Spotting is very normal with Nexplanon, at any time. Absolutely normal. It's most probably old blood, mixed with vaginal discharge.
