I took it to …Hi all, I Just picked up my C6 Z06 last weekend and then suddenly I started getting the "service charging system" warning on the dashboard, I noticed while driving the car the voltage goes to 14V then at idle it drops to 13.5, if I turn on the AC at idle it will drop to 12.3V then I drive with ac on goes to 13.9.2005 Chevrolet Corvette. As for the charging system fault: Check the battery connections for clean and tight and properly torqued battery terminal connections. Also check the terminals on the starter solenoid for proper tightness. No issues for the rest of the trip the voltmeter look to be about 14.5 and while running an errand today the same message came up.
