The fuel capacity is 4.8 gallons.So roughly 200 miles per tank of fuel. The thing to remember is a lot depends on how you ride as an individual.Simply get any jack under edge of frame near the rear most on the right -. Angled back out of the way - Raised only enough - to clear the main jack to get under. Get those 2x4's out of there-Taking up to much space - & too low. The pile of 2x4's should have gone under the tire - not under the frame.Anybody got a VTX-1300 who used to ride a dual-pin Shadow 1100 (Spirit, Sabre or Tourer).
