Description. The Rafael Larco Herrera archaeological museum exhibits one of the most complete collections of pre-Columbian art in Peru. It was founded in 1926 by the Peruvian archaeologist Rafael Larco Hoyle, who donated part of his private collection to form the beginnings of the museum.
