Desert Botanical Garden is home to thousands of species of cactus, trees and flowers from all around the world spread across 55 acres in Phoenix, Arizona. And you can experience it for free every second Tuesday during the garden’s community days ... They decided to plan a small micro wedding to officially tie the knot. The original plan was to get married at Lost Dutchman State Park. But, the week of the wedding the park closed due to fires. So, within a week, they had to change their plans yet again. Thankfully, they were able to get married at the amazing Desert Botanical Gardens! In 1939, a small group of passionate local citizens saw the need to conserve the beautiful desert environment. One was Swedish botanist Gustaf Starck, who found like-minded residents by posting a sign that read “Save the Desert.”.
